The Short Game—Not short on personality

Golf fans, listen up. There’s a documentary on Netflix you must see. If you love the game of golf, then you most likely will be interested in “The Short Game.”

Golf fans, listen up. There’s a documentary on Netflix you must see. If you love the game of golf, then you most likely will be interested in “The Short Game.”

This documentary follows the lives of eight of the best 7-year old golfers in the world as they train for and compete in the World Championships of Junior Golf.

While this might sound like a high-pressure film, it’s lighthearted and exciting to watch. Some of the children have such big personalities for how young they are. And to see so much dedication come from such small children is inspiring.

My favorite kid was Allan Kournikova (yes, Anna Kournikova’s younger brother) because he has such a fun personality. It was crazy to see a kid working out and flipping tires as a grown man would and then see him act like a child when he did better than one of his competitors. After all, he’s just a kid!

So if you’re looking for something new to watch, keep “The Short Game” on your short list.
