We’re four months into the year, and I’m guessing not many people have stuck to their New Year’s resolutions. Those five pounds you planned to lose are still holding on tight. Well it’s not too late to start trying again.
Maybe a new approach would be best. Sometimes just seeing what you eat can help you to manage your weight. Have you ever written down everything you ate in a single day? Imagine seeing those five cookies or half a bag of Doritos written on paper. It might make you try to be healthier the next day.
Keep a food journal can change your outlook on your diet. It might even make you plan meals in advance. The hardest part is being honest and accounting for every piece of food you eat and every drink you have. You’re trying to help yourself, so don’t lie about quantities.
After awhile, you probably won’t even need to write down your food intake. In time, you’ll become aware of what you should eat and how much is acceptable.
