Lately, I’ve been listening to podcasts on my drive to work. It relaxes my mind, and it’s much better than hearing the same popular songs playing over and over. I also like to listen to them at home when I’m doing dishes or cleaning my apartment. Here are some that have caught my attention lately.
1. Here’s the Thing with Alec Baldwin: Alec Baldwin talks with artists, policy makers and performers. It’s an easy listen and after hearing a couple, I was hooked. After hearing a podcast, you feel almost as if you know the person’s life story. I loved the one with Sarah Jessica Parker. And Alec Baldwin’s voice is really easy to listen to. It definitely makes the commute to work seem much less boring.
2. The Meditation Podcast: This podcast is not one to listen to when driving. It strictly says not to. It helps you relax your mind and calm your body. I like to use this in the evening to de-stress after work.
3. Simple Roots Radio: I’ve been on quite the health kick lately, and this podcast has taught me a lot of things I didn’t know. From food to skin issues and more, this podcast is all encompassing. Who knew that a cup of hot water with lemon first thing in the morning would help calm my stomach?
