Spring may be another month away, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait until then to brighten your home. You can add color to a room in a variety of ways. Furniture, paint and accessories are great ways to brighten your living space. Here are three bright color palettes to help you plan your brightening projects.
CLASSY: This color palette is great if you want to add a feminine touch in a room.
You don’t have to go too girly.
If you want to keep a nice balance, focus on the blue and gray, and add small touches of the pink and teal.
Imagine a room with gray walls, a navy couch, teal curtains and pale pink blankets.
MODERN: This color palette is great if you want a nice modern touch in your home.
The colors are bright and saturated, which will give your home some layers.
For big pieces of furniture, I would suggest using the gray and purple colors.
Add pops of color with the yellow and orange.
CHIC: If you want a very sophisticated look, try this color palette.
It will add brightness without giving up style. The colors contrast well with each other to make for a nice dimensional look. You can’t really go wrong featuring any of these colors as the dominant color.
My personal favorite would be the green with lots of pops of blue and orange. I’d use the gray for paint.
