Every fall, usually in October, I head to a cabin in Hocking Hills for a weekend with my girl gang. The annual cabin trip started about a year after we graduated from Ohio University. And we’ve kept the tradition going over the last seven years through job relocations, marriages and growing families.
The holidays are upon us, and that means family get-togethers, parties, shopping and of course, gifting. I always feel weird answering the age-old question, “What do you want for Christmas?” When I was a kid, I would create multiple lists so that I wouldn’t get two of the same gift. Smart thinking!
With streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, it’s hard for traditional TV shows to last. With that being said, there are some new shows that have cut through the fluff and are worth watching this fall. There are still plenty of rejects and shows that just try too hard.
Whether you have kids or you’re an adult who loves to celebrate Halloween, the sweets and treats can be hard on your teeth (and stomachs). This year, try some healthier snacks to satisfy your cravings.
Who doesn’t love a little pick-me-up? Whether it’s a reward system for finishing a project or getting through a rough week, pick-me-ups are something to look forward to. Rather than rewarding yourself with food, try one of these to boost your mood.
