With so much happening downtown, who are the driving forces behind all of the changes? With the help of the About advisory board, we selected these 10 community leaders to put a spotlight on the positive changes they are making downtown. Here’s who is moving and shaking downtown:
Formed in 2000, the Canton Development Partnership, a department of the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, is a coalition of area development organizations and city government that share an interest in downtown Canton’s continual improvement, revitalization, image and quality of life for its citizens.
Nick Habib and Laura Cardwell met in January 2009 through a mutual friend and began dating in August of that year. Nick proposed to Laura a little more than two years later on her birthday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Gervasi Vineyard.
