Guys such as Patrick Buckohr always have great stories to tell. He’s the guy you want to sit next to at the bar, buy him a beer and just listen. Buckohr is a tattoo artist by day and a scrap-metal sculptor by night.
The first time I watched “Moneyball,” I was mesmerized by how Billy Beane, the Oakland A’s general manager, put together his baseball team. Side note: If you haven’t seen the movie, I highly recommend it.
“It’s always evolving,” he says about his distinctive landscapes and creatures. “I think when I was younger, I wanted to make more fantasy-type things and express that weirder side of myself. The older I get, the more inspiration I’m getting from everyday life, my surroundings and the interactions around me.”
