I have to respect a restaurant that embraces its identity. People flock to the Winking Lizard for beer and bar food, and the restaurant is excellent at both of those things. With the exception of rotating seasonal menus, the menu doesn’t stray too far from those basics.
In an area dominated by national chains, it’s exciting to see locally owned restaurants that are not only thriving but also vibrant and ever-evolving. It takes some digging, but you can find the nutrition info you need at most popular chain restaurants. More and more restaurants are posting nutritional information on their menus. Those that don’t, often have the information on their websites.
