Chris Collett jokes that he has lots of cool initials following his name on his business card. They’re all acronyms for the personal training, sports conditioning and youth specialty certifications Collett has amassed over his 10 years of training elite athletes at the college, high school and youth levels.
It is no coincidence that aerial views reveal the monument as a sword. Harold Van Buren Magonigle of New York City was chosen as the designer of the monument from more than 60 submitted designs. Construction on the monument started in 1905, and it was dedicated in 1907.

A night under the stars with some cool jazz and a cool view of the city is planned to honor Stark County’s “Twenty Under 40.” An expected 400 people will converge at the McKinley monument June 10, where a large tent will be set up for the event.
