A couple months back at an editorial meeting, I casually mentioned that the Feast Awards issue was coming up. I put a little feeler out to see what the team would want to taste-test and judge this year. Someone mentioned donuts might be fun, and I immediately decided that’s what we would judge.
I’m someone who always says she’s not that interested in art. But that’s actually a lie. Maybe I don’t know a valuable piece of art when I see one and maybe I don’t find art museums particularly enthralling, but I definitely value the arts. Art extends way beyond paintings and sculptures.
