Wishes have been coming true for 30 years here in Stark County. “When Linda (Lippert) and I founded the organization in 1982 we never dreamed we’d be doing this 30 years later,” exclaimed Cyndi Morrow, executive director of Wishes Can Happen, a nonprofit group that provides wishes to seriously ill children.
My religious tradition elevates teaching, learning, peace, justice and mercy to the level of mission. It is for such a mission as this that I was created. Whenever I am able to advance these qualities, I help to realize my potentials, create meaning in my life and help to mend a broken world. Here I find creativity, growth, meaning and great satisfaction.
I’m drawn to leadership positions in nonprofits whose mission involves improving health.
