In March, the 26th annual Celebrity Cuisine hosted by Atlantic Food Distributors and The Tri-County Restaurant Association to benefit Community Harvest, a program of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, brought a record-breaking crowd to the Canton Memorial Civic Center.
The 2016 Tri-County Restaurant Association Scholarships & Community Harvest Celebrity Cuisine Donation were presented at the general membership and board meeting and luncheon in July at Kozmo’s Grille. The recipients of the TCRA scholarships were Brittney Costa from Marlington High School and Rosa Forchione from St. Thomas Aquinas.
The 22nd annual Celebrity Cuisine was held at the Canton Memorial Civic Center in April. Celebrity Cuisine has become known as the premier happy hour of the season because of the extraordinary all-inclusive ticket price. For $30, attendees enjoyed unlimited access to appetizers, entree samples, beer, wine and desserts while listening to live music and bidding on a silent auction. The event benefited Community Harvest.
