Since opening in February, the 15,000-square-foot Canton Brewing Company’s underground brewery and pub has become a mecca for beer enthusiasts. Serving eight craft varieties brewed on-site, it took some time for the establishment to add its full menu and restaurant to the fold, but it did just that earlier this summer.
Melissa Kath moved to Stark County seven years ago, after her husband accepted a job as a professor at Walsh University. Originally from Minnesota, the teacher at Fairless Elementary School lives in downtown North Canton—a location that gives her quick access to many of the things she loves about Stark County.
Canton Advertising Federation had its annual meeting and Ad Person of the Year Celebration in April at the Canton Brewing Company. Honored were Tim Kraft, Ad Person of the Year, and Dick Maggiore, Lifetime Member Award.
