Melissa Bloom-Doerschuk and David Doerschuk initially met on Facebook. His sister recommended he add Melissa as a friend. After several attempts, she finally responded. Melissa knew what she was looking for, and David had it. Within five months, the two were engaged, and a year and a half later, they were married.
Ashley Dilbeck and Aaron Forte met at Walsh University in 2008.They were casual friends and didn’t start dating until October 2009. They dated just under two years before Aaron proposed on Sept. 3, 2011 while the couple were skydiving at Canton Air Sports. They were married on April 20, 2013 at Ashley’s childhood church in Akron, Park United Methodist.
“It is an awesome honor,” said the owner of SOLID Fitness. “I really haven’t been here all that long. This is my fourth full year training, but I’ve only been open since October so this is an awesome honor.”
Darcy Vrabel and Elvis Drevon attended rival Catholic high schools and had a lot of mutual friends, but didn’t meet until about a year after they graduated from high school. It was a summer day (July 3, 2004, to be exact), when Darcy’s best friend convinced her to go to a party with her at Elvis’ parents’ house.
