Mary Jo Harroff, acting executive director, joined Girls on the Run in 2008 as a coach and fundraiser when she lived in Chicago. Upon returning to Canton, she immediately volunteered as a coach for girls and quickly became involved with the organization’s growth as a member of the board and now as the acting volunteer executive director. Girls on the Run inspires girls in grades 3 through 8 to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind.
Erin Murphy is a communications specialist at Aultman Hospital. Before joining the Aultman team, she spent nearly 10 years building library collections geared toward teens, working with teen library volunteers and planning after-school programming. She really recommends following your favorite authors on social media. Who doesn’t love to hear what is coming next? And many of them share great beloved pet pictures.
So, about my desk… There are work spaces here at The Repository that could grace the pages of Architectural Digest. (Looking at you, Marketing Department). There are some here that are so neat and organized, they could bring a tear to the eye of a drill sergeant. My work area is not one of those work areas.
Andrew Rudd grew up all over the Midwest and moved to Canton in 1999. He teaches about movies and communication at Malone University. He also makes films and screens films, including directing 2019’s Canton Film Fest.
Christina Weyrick is the community relations manager for the North Canton Public Library. She also serves as chair of the board of directors for the North Canton Area Chamber of Commerce. Christina is a member of the North Canton Educational Endowment board and is an active advocate for homeless animals.
Lauren Bosworth has lived in Canton (Jackson township) most of her life. She is a Central Catholic High School and Miami University graduate who decided to make Northeast Ohio her home again after college.
Joe French is the CEO of Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Kent State University in Elementary Education and a master’s degree from Ashland University in Early Childhood Education-Curriculum and Instruction.
Stephanie Werren has been with Leadership Stark County since 2005, first as development director and then as assistant director and as director since 2015. Stephanie is also a certified Gallup Strengths Coach and leads many training and facilitations for individuals and groups on Strengths Finder.
