“I like a timeless Audrey Hepburn look paired with a grunge tee and Converse. It’s about proportion, finding something that resonates and building from that.”
That philosophy often extends to the style she channels for client work. At A La Mode, she and husband Matt focus on brand identity, print literature and packaging.
“Our client base is largely comprised of independent entrepreneurs who come to us with a vision, and we breathe life into that vision over time. This is our creative life. There is no turning it off or turning it on.”
With clients abroad, the couple travels for work and pleasure, and Snyder has culled much of her personal collection from small, tucked-away shops in Chicago, Savannah and Columbus.
“I love that all of these cities are so diverse, but there’s always a common thread you can relate to or work into your own style.
Trends she loves for spring include layering, bracelet stacks, mixing metal finishes, sentiment pieces, stripes and menswear, especially when paired with feminine pieces.
I love typography and this TRAVEL BAG is a favorite. My sister is a flight attendant and picked it up in Denver. I found these great PEARLS in a Hilton Head boutique on one of our trips. And I picked up this little CHARM BRACELET at The Paris Market in Savannah—love the little feather detail.
