Jeff LeBeau and Lauren Zink were introduced by a close friend and fell in love at first sight after a boat night on Lake Cable and a walk in Jackson Park. Jeff and Lauren dated on and off throughout college and after.
After nine and a half years, one dog, a newly built house together and almost a decade’s worth of adventures, Jeff finally asked the question after a fun-filled night in Cleveland, where Lauren thought they were going to celebrate her 28th birthday. The couple was married Sept. 14, 2013, at the Akron Art Museum.
When asked, Jeff said that Lauren created and designed a lot of the elements for their big day. He helped select the music and cake.
Jeff and Lauren reside in Aberdeen Glen in Jackson Township and are eagerly looking forward to starting a family soon. Lauren is employed as an education awareness analyst for global risk and security at Diebold, and Jeff is employed as the director of new business at WRL Advertising.
