The competition is open to both amateurs and professionals. One entry per person, and up to five per establishment.
It goes without saying that we’re looking for delicious drinks, but if your concoction requires an in-flight triple-axel shake and a pep talk from Browns Coach Romeo Crennel, you can forget it.
Our judges also will be factoring in ease of creation and creativity, so don’t think your soda water and whiskey is going to make the cut, either. Taste, appearance and aroma also are judging factors.
The winner will receive a prize package from About magazine, including, but not limited to, the About magazine Signature Drink Award, $200 cash prize and a feature in About magazine.
More importantly, however, the winner will enjoy the glory and publicity of creating the finest cocktail in Stark County.
