feast_just_getting_started_awardA standout item at Bugsy’s Pasta House in Massillon is the savory portobello bruschetta ($8.99), created by chef Ernesto Catalon.

The sizable (and shareable) appetizer has grilled focaccia bread mounded with sauteed portobello mushrooms and caramelized onions, sprinkled with crumbled feta cheese and drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

The combination of flavors and textures is heavenly, and would be well-paired with a glass of wine—or one of Bugsy’s dozen $4 martinis.

The dining room at Bugsy’s has a relaxed vibe, with subdued lighting and mellow jazz music.
