Feast Awards: Hang Yuen Kitchen

This job has some neat perks, such as learning about cool places in the county I may not have known about otherwise. That’s the case with Hang Yuen Kitchen.

A while back, someone’s picks for Part & Parcel included the Asian restaurant. Living in North Canton, I knew I had to test it for myself. Since then, Hang Yuen has become my go-to Chinese restaurant.

My menu picks may seem pretty boring to some—sesame chicken, orange chicken and General Tso’s chicken combos with rice, egg rolls and fortune cookies are my usual favorites—but the menu has plenty from which to choose.

There’s nothing wrong with keeping things simple, especially when Hang Yuen does it right every single time. The food always tastes fresh and never overcooked or possibly missing chicken—no crispy questionable pieces here.

To find consistent, delicious Chinese food at an affordable rate—and close to home—is a win-win in my book. Make the trek to the Marc’s plaza in North Canton, and you won’t be disappointed.
