The website for The Wedding Chapel of Ohio calls the nondenominational and interdenominational venue a special place to hold “an intimate, memorable and unique smaller wedding.”

“We offer smaller, upscale weddings,” said the Rev. Pamela S. Ohman, who has performed ceremonies at The Wedding Chapel at 1628 36th Street NW in Canton, just off Cleveland Avenue NW, for more than a decade.

“Our ceremony basically is in between a big church wedding and one held at a courthouse.”

Couples reserve a time for a ceremony by calling Ohman at 330-493-8060. Services include an intimate “Elopement Wedding,” a traditional and elegant “Simplicity Wedding” and the more involved “Ultimate Wedding Experience.” Prices ranging upward from $100 can be obtained by contacting Ohman.

“I love what I do,” said Ohman. “I have even more fun than the couples being part of their special day.”
