The wine-casual event was held at the Alex D. Krassas Center in Canton, and Meals on Wheels is proud to announce that the fundraiser exceeded its goal of $135,000. With 300 guests in attendance, the fundraiser was a sold-out event. For those who attended, there was delicious food, excellent wine, unique prizes and the best company to be had. Proceeds from the event will go toward Meals on Wheels’ mission of serving its community and providing its homebound and hungry neighbors with nutritional support for better health, mobility and independence. The Main Event proudly recognized its honorees, PPi Graphics, United Grinding and Progressive Auto Group, for giving Meals on Wheels their unsolicited and endless support year after year. Volunteers Don and Jean Joliat were honored for their extraordinary efforts and willingness to help Meals on Wheels.
