Now Open: The Rail

The Rail, a true carnivore paradise, is now open in the space previously occupied by Talbots at Belden Village Mall.

This is the third location in a small but prolific NEO chain owned by Mike Mariola (previous spots include Fairlawn and North Olmsted). Each burger is made with half-pound, 100% Ohio sourced beef, although Mariola does not personally wrestle the beef to the ground at slaughter time (a myth recently debunked on the restaurant’s blog).

The menu beckons diners to “dig in,” and on a recent visit, we did just that—scarfing the Local Yokel, with Swiss, bacon and a fried egg. Perfectly filling, with enough room for Blue Truffle housemade chips.

Visit therailburger.com for full menu and the Burger of the Month. Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
