Letter from the Editor: April 2014

After the cold, snowy, treacherous winter we had here in Stark County, I know you guys must be ready to get out and explore. This month, we’re giving you the opportunity to do just that. Not only is this issue the “get out” issue, it also covers mini vacations with fun-filled days here in Stark County and surrounding areas, and it highlights tips on how to take the trip of your dreams without paying full price for it. Sign me up!

In this issue, we have a feature about “staycations” that will have you feeling rested and relaxed. Who said you have to go far away to enjoy yourself? Our feature focuses on greater northeastern Ohio. Right here in Stark County are the beautiful Gervasi Villas. With exquisite rooms, spa services and golf packages, this place is ideal for a getaway. For those of you hoping to venture a little farther, our stories on short trips to Amish Country and Cleveland will be right up your alley. Jess Bennett tells of her four-city visit to Japan and her cruise to Spain and Portugal and how she was able to navigate both trips easily.
