After being selected as a student ambassador with People to People, GlenOak senior Brad Evans seized the opportunity to let his entrepreneurial spirit—and filmmaking prowess—take center stage.

With People to People, Evans will spend nearly three weeks this summer on an educational trip, traveling across Europe and expanding his global awareness along the way. And in order to foot the bill ($7,000+), he’s started his own business, Brad Evans Productions.

Born of an immense passion for film, Evans offers a variety of services, including videography, short web videos and keepsake DVDs.

The National Honor Society member and academic letterman has done extensive volunteer work, often providing his video skills for local nonprofit organizations.

And through GlenOak’s video production department, he has produced, directed and edited many short films for class—as well as for fun—and worked on school projects for companies such as Mercy Medical Center and Goodyear.

His work is online at youtube.com/BradEvansProductions. Evans plans to continue his company into college, and will study digital media at Kent State University this fall.

He hopes to have a career in film. It seems he’s well on his way.
