Mum's the Word

Mum’s the word  I never would have taken this photo — let alone seen the butterfly on my patio flowers — if not for my cat, Sam. She loves to chase butterflies, so when I saw her sitting and staring at the mums I knew something was up — and so did the butterfly. The butterfly was frozen in place — blending in and hoping the cat would not notice. I hurried to get my camera. When I got back, neither had moved and I took this picture.
