THE PHOTOGRAPHER'S VIEW Opportunities abound to witness sports history as Pro Football's Greatest Weekend heats up. While the former gridiron greats begin their pilgrimage to Canton, journalists look to document their Stark County presence in ways that will be compelling to those we serve, our readers. The Enshrinees Dinner provided such an opportunity in 2007 as former Dallas wideout Michael Irvin acknowledged the crowd at the Memorial Civic Center for his first public appearance of the weekend. Video monitors projected the moment as he basked in the warm glow of the spotlight, just as he did so well during his playing years with the Cowboys. News photographers are always on the hunt for new, interesting angles. This perspective, behind the screen and with Irvin projected in reverse, gave a fresh vantage point few people saw firsthand.
