“So Many Dreams to Unlock”

Last Look: Art by Michael Weiss

Because this issue is all about art, we decided to feature art by The Repository’s own Associate Graphics Editor Michael Weiss. Weiss has designed for About, and he also has been featured in a previous art issue. If you’d like to see more of Weiss’ art, check out his website at michaelweiss.carbonmade.com, or stop by Evolution Art at 338 Fourth Street NW in Canton on First Fridays.

Last Look: Gulf sunset

This photo shot by Scott Heckel shows the sun dipping below the Gulf of Mexico, signaling the conclusion to another day in Clearwater Beach, Fla. The scene was witnessed from the dock of Jimmy’s Fish House and Iguana Bar, which attracts visitors from across the world for its famous sunset views. The Sunshine State’s coastline extends 1,350 miles, the longest in the contiguous United States.

Last Look: Puppy-dog eyes

Our mischievous chocolate Lab puppy, Gracie, can find our shoes in the best of hiding places. She has doubled in size in the four months since this photo was taken. And many shoes later, her picture-perfect puppy-dog eyes still have the exact same effect.
