When Bill Lucas asked Bobbie Tabellion to marry him on Christmas Day 2009, the bride-to-be said she was very surprised. “We hadn't looked at rings at all and had only briefly discussed marriage so I really had no idea he was going to propose!” Bobbie said. They were married on May 28, 2011, at the O’Neil House in Akron in an outdoor ceremony in one of the gardens there. Even the weather cooperated in making their day perfect. The bride’s mother and aunt worked weeks in advance to create a spectacular cookie table at the reception (seen at right), and Bobbie and Bill made their own wine for the guests to take home as favors. “Our wedding was without a doubt absolutely everything we wanted,” Bobbie said.
